We warmly welcome a urban sailsman and old friend to the family. Peter Markgraf joint our team and with him we release his Signature Board “Moby Dick”. Our latest creation is a true freestyle dancing board which we developed together with Peter during the last months.

“My mission was to create a board that inherits both, the street skating and the longboarding style. Building a bridge in-between some of the most demanding expressions of skateboarding when it comes to wear and tear of your beloved gear. I just had to connect my left and right side of the brain in one deck. This board pushes happily around town all day but don’t be misled by it’s friendly nature and easy to handle appearance: throw your hardest freestyle moves at it and it will swallow all the abuse with ease and laughter. Living up to it’s promise with a massive pop and an unmatched light, yet super robust, construction. The timeless graphic supplied by Boggie Gramb are the icing on the cake of a ruthless, tough and incredibly fun board. Say hello to my brainchild: the Moby Dick”

Les Robertson

Born in Vancouver, Les has been backpacking and adventuring around the globe most of his life. Skateboarding made it easier to get around, eventually leading to a long trek skate adventure across Kenya. With a new appreciation for skateboards and some good connections, Les dropped everything to make skateboarding his life and, as they say, it's all been downhill since. Now Editor at Skate[Slate] and one of the owners of Flatspot Longboards, Les spends the rest of his time raising his first kid, plugged into the skate-web, and skating with Coast Longboarding.
