Venom is proud to announce Devil’s Peak Downhill, collaborating with Justin Rolo, we’re bringing in an all new downhill skateboarding event in Georgetown, Colorado. Following in the footsteps of Pagan Downhill and Justin DuBois, Devil’s Peak is bringing back the hectic-grassroots style event that Colorado was notorious for.

The course features a 1.5 mile classic mountain pass road, speeds over 50mph, 7 turns (4 hairpin corners), rough high-country pavement, and a drop-in point at 10,000ft elevation in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. This will be an open skateboarding event, no timed qualifying, no classes, no lay down, just skateboarding.

Open registration will be May 15th, Colorado *Locals-Only* registration will be May 14th on www.venomskate.com/devils-peak. Registration cap will be 150 riders, at $150.00, don’t sleep on registration!!

Born in Vancouver, Les has been backpacking and adventuring around the globe most of his life. Skateboarding made it easier to get around, eventually leading to a long trek skate adventure across Kenya. With a new appreciation for skateboards and some good connections, Les dropped everything to make skateboarding his life and, as they say, it's all been downhill since. Now Editor at Skate[Slate] and one of the owners of Flatspot Longboards, Les spends the rest of his time raising his first kid, plugged into the skate-web, and skating with Coast Longboarding.
